Morrison also said they very specifically chose to do the comic in an eight panel grid as, “The ‘Multiversity’ series is based around a musical concept. The DC Multiverse is all vibrations, so we did the grid which was based on musical octaves and harmonic scale — the whole thing is based on music.” -from his MorrisonCon panel on the Multiversity project. I know this page has been doing the rounds, and I tend to avoid posting things everyone’s already seen — I mean, then I’m just talking shit, aren’t I — but this additional tidbit is hot enough for me to make the exception. I’m way in the can for comic structure as musical beat.  Hot.
